For this (un)holy art relic Savage Pencil has taken elements from UK metal legend Black Sabbath and combined them with his take on the automatic drawing style of Edwardian occult artist Austin Osman Spare.

Presented as a diptych on two separate prints (purple on black and black on white) the work, when suitably hung, is intended to mirror a religious icon – only one where good and evil are equally worshipped. On another level it can also be viewed as an illustration showing lead singer Ozzy Osbourne facing his personal demons as all hell is set to break loose.

Masterfully silkscreened by Alan Dickey at About Being Seen, “Paranoise” is a double print set that is strictly limited to an edition of 15 artist signed, numbered and embossed copies.
