In the Streets: The Art of Protest and our Reproductive Rights
The Haight Street Art Center is proud to host a display of poster art that reflects the current moment of art and street protest around our continued struggles for reproductive rights. As the fight continues to secure people's freedom to decide about their own bodies, we continue to find the power of personal and political expression through activism. This exhibit seeks to highlight this activism, with new voices, imagery and messaging in a movement that is decades old, and also center the poster art, always driving the cause. As we take to the streets, we hope you take a moment to reflect, pause, and absorb the art.
View this exhibition in our Garden Gallery in the Community Garden at Laguna and Haight Streets, during daylight hours.
The Garden Gallery is open to the public.
