Drawing with Perspective Class with Christopher Peterson: May 31 - July 5, 2018
Course Description:
This 6-session course will explore the fundamentals of drawing with perspective, and is open to all ages and skill levels. Each class includes a lecture, assignment and review/critique focused on each of the following areas:
- One-point perspective
- Two-point perspective
- Multiple point and atmospheric perspective
- Drawing ellipses (circles) in perspective
- The perspective of things (figures, cars, guitars, symmetrical things)
- Introduction to reflections

About the Teacher:
Christopher Peterson began his career as an Illustrator in New York City in 1980 when he started working for The New York Times and Time Magazine. Since moving to the Bay Area in 1984, he has been a steady fixture in the landscape of art and design, newspapers, advertising, exhibit design, teaching, painting and illustrating.
