San Francisco Public Library

Haight Street Art Center partnered with the San Francisco Public Library and the library’s Mix Makerspace, a center for teens ages 13-18 to create and experiment with different forms of media. Haight Street organized a panel discussion featuring three of the Bay Area’s most influential poster artists—Stanley Mouse, Winston Smith and Chris Shaw. Chris Shaw demonstrated screen printing, printing a poster he had designed in conjunction with the teens to commemorate the Mix Makerspace. The event also featured musical performances by members of the Mix Makerspace.
