At the Haight Street Art Center, Art, Music, and Activism are at the heart of everything we do. The opening of the new Epicenter Gallery, in harmony with our active Print Studio, creates a space where history, craft, and contemporary culture meet and evolve. Together, these spaces embody the living continuum of art in action: past and present, analog and digital, individual and collective. The result is a dynamic and participatory experience that invites the community to not only witness art’s impact but to become part of it.

Outreach

over 4000 posters handed out to the community for free!

"Working with the Haight Street Art Center this year was an absolute pleasure. Their beautifully curated exhibit about the festival, special launch event for our 25th anniversary commemorative book, and engaging printmaking pop-up at the festival all added something truly meaningful to this year's celebration.”

Education

Intergenerational learning strengthens artistic spaces by bringing together diverse lived experiences and fresh perspectives

"Their dedication goes beyond art- they create a space where our LGBTQ elders feel seen, valued, and celebrated in a world that too often makes them feel invisible. Each workshop is crafted with deep intention, honoring LGBTQ history, resilience, and the lived experiences of our community’s trailblazers. Through thoughtful themes and heartfelt connection, they remind our LGBTQ elders that their stories matter and their activism continues to inspire."

Our studio continues to be a welcoming, inclusive, and informative space that builds bridges within local communities.

Member Testimonials

“The print studio at Haight Street Art Center has been a place of community, creativity, support, and education. After taking my first class there, I was immediately eager to spend more time surrounded by the warm comfort of people pleasantly absorbed in the process of bringing their creative vision to life. I wish I had more time to spend in the studio!”
