John Mavroudis


John Mavroudis is the co-creator of three New Yorker covers including the 5th Anniversary of the 9/11, which was named Cover of the Year by the American Society of Magazine Editors. He has also created three TIME magazine covers, including one that was also named the Cover of The Year award for his 2018 typographic portrait of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. 

He has also created dozens of posters for the legendary Fillmore poster series and Moonalice. His art has also appeared on the cover of The Nation magazine (for the Obama Inaugural issue in January, 2009 and the Anti-Trump pre-election cover for the October 2016 issue.) Various other work includes covers for ALTA mag, and the 60th Anniversary poster for the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Tam, and their 10-year old art director, Athena.
