Monica Trinidad


 

Monica Trinidad is a queer, Latinx artist and organizer in Chicago, IL. She is the co-founder of For the People Artists Collective, a radical BIPOC arts organization in Chicago, and an emerging member of Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative. She has co-founded multiple organizations and projects over the years, including Brown and Proud Press, the People’s Response Team, and a lead co-organizer with We Charge Genocide. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including NPR, Chicago Reader, South Side Weekly, Truthout, and has been shown at the DuSable Museum, Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, and the National Museum of Mexican Art.
